When the entire nation was yet to finish the mortuary tribute of Irrfan Khan, another headstone was thrown today morning with Rishi Kapoor’s death. I was yet to wake up properly when i discovered the news and all I wished to say was “ 𝓦𝓪𝓴𝓮 𝓶𝓮 𝓾𝓹 𝔀𝓱𝓮𝓷 2020 𝓮𝓷𝓭𝓼.” I went to my mom to tell her the news only to see her already distressed face.Today’s generation won’t ever know what a heartthrob he was in their time. He was what Vicky Kaushal,Ranbir Kapoor is today, Shah Rukh Khan,Salman Khan in the 2000's. He was a superstar in himself, unparalleled with acting in his blood. He ruled bollywood over three decades with an acting career of around five decades.When Rishi Kapoor sang ,“𝓜𝓲𝓵 𝓳𝓪𝓪𝔂𝓮 𝓲𝓼 𝓽𝓪𝓻𝓪𝓱...𝓭𝓸 𝓵𝓮𝓱𝓻𝓮 𝓳𝓲𝓼 𝓽𝓪𝓻𝓪𝓱...𝓯𝓲𝓻 𝓱𝓸 𝓷𝓪 𝓳𝓾𝓭𝓪𝓪..𝓱𝓪𝓪𝓷 𝔂𝓮𝓱 𝓿𝓪𝓪𝓭𝓪 𝓻𝓪𝓱𝓪…”* That charming face, those expressions made his female fans go on knees. His numerous romantic movies, characters and dialogues are still alive in every 60’s and 70’s kid’s heart. He moved forward the legacy of ‘ *kapoor khandan* ’ gracefully, Well, it would be wrong to say that this era folks couldn’t get enough of his iconic roles. He played roles of some amazing parent an *Manmohan* in ‘Namastey London’, *Gurtej Kahlon* in “Patiala House’ , *“Daddu”* in ‘Sanam Re’ and a never ending list goes on. He carried away comic roles so amazingly that it was a treat to see him on-screen in *Housefull 2*, *Student of the year*, *Bewakoofiyan*. I loved *Amarjeet Kapoor*(Kapoor And Sons),what an amazing role it was yet so real, a character literally the grandpa next-door who at such an age wanted to live life to the fullest, wanted his entire family together. *Veer singh*(Love Aj Kal) gave such love lessons so flawlessly that probably we all started dreaming of a perfect relationship. Even today all his romantic dialogues and one-liners have no match.I can still drool when he said,“ 𝓙𝓪𝓫 𝓭𝓸 𝓲𝓷𝓼𝓪𝓪𝓷 𝓮𝓴 𝓭𝓸𝓸𝓼𝓻𝓮 𝓴𝓲 𝓻𝓸𝓸𝓱 𝓴𝓸 𝓬𝓱𝓱𝓾 𝓵𝓮, 𝓾𝓼𝓮 𝓹𝔂𝓪𝓪𝓻 𝓴𝓮𝓱𝓽𝓮 𝓱𝓪𝓲,” or may be one like ,” 𝓙𝓮𝓮 𝓴𝓪𝓻𝓽𝓪 𝓱𝓪𝓲...𝓽𝓾𝓶𝓱𝓪𝓻𝓲 𝓱𝓪𝓻 𝓴𝓱𝔀𝓪𝓱𝓲𝓼𝓱, 𝓱𝓪𝓻 𝓲𝓬𝓱𝓱𝓪 𝓴𝓸 𝓪𝓹𝓷𝓪 𝓶𝓪𝓺𝓼𝓪𝓭 𝓫𝓪𝓷𝓪 𝓵𝓸𝓸𝓷..” his savage dialogues are a different level fascinating. I will miss how beautifully you outshined everyone else on screen, I will miss the fat adorable man giving some amazing life lessons, I will miss the man who never stepped back to correct people on social media, i will miss your savage statements,I will miss the honest man, the perfect husband, the admirable father, i will miss you *“daddu”*, i will miss *“dean”*. You were a legend, can I call it the end of an era? Surely it is. But did you really die? Because i grew up to believe a man never dies until his name is still remembered. As a kid, my mom said to me God takes good people away early and it is making more sense now. Hope you blossom with Irrfan in the meadows of heaven as bright stars and laugh how we could never give what you deserved and today the void created will never be fulfilled. I will end the note ᴛᴇᴀᴍwith just one question,"2020, 𝔀𝓱𝓸’𝓼 𝓷𝓮𝔁𝓽 ? "
